Akvega, founded in 2430, has grown into a large planetary colony with an estimated population of around 25 million by the year 4000. The majority of the population is concentrated in urban areas, with the capital city and regional centers strategically placed based on Akvega’s geosphere and biosphere to support urban development and resource management.

LUMVERDA (Population 10 million) Lumverda is located in a coastal region with abundant freshwater resources and fertile land, making it an ideal location for agriculture and economic activity. As the largest urban center, it serves as the seat of planetary governance and diplomacy. Lumverda’s infrastructure focuses on renewable energy and sustainable urban development, integrating advanced technologies such as smart materials and AI-driven city management. The city’s spaceport is the main hub for off-planet trade.

VERDEVALO (Population 7.5 million) Positioned in Akvega’s expansive central plains, Verdevalo is the agricultural and energy powerhouse of the colony. The region’s stable climate and fertile soil allow for intensive farming, while solar and wind energy generation provides power for much of the planet. Verdevalo also hosts the colony’s primary research centers for biological sciences, transhumanism, and environmental studies.

MINURĜO (Population 5 million) Minurĝo is situated near mineral-rich mountain ranges, making it the center of Akvega’s industrial sector. Mining operations and resource extraction are heavily automated with advanced robotics, allowing for efficient production while minimizing environmental impact. The city is a vital part of the colony’s economic structure, supplying raw materials for both local use and interplanetary trade.

BLUVERDO (Population 2.5 million) Located in a fertile river valley, Bluverdo is a smaller yet crucial urban center focused on hydrology and freshwater resource management. The city’s proximity to Akvega’s primary water sources ensures a stable supply of clean water for both urban use and agriculture. Bluverdo is known for its innovative water treatment technologies and sustainable urban planning, making it a model city for eco-friendly development.

KORALORDO (Population 500,000) Koralordo is a coastal regional center, known for its vibrant marine life and coral reefs. It serves as a hub for marine biology and environmental conservation efforts, leveraging its proximity to the rich underwater ecosystems. Koralordo is also a popular destination for eco-tourism and research.

SALINSULO (Population 500,000) Salinsulo is located on an island with extensive salt flats, where salt mining and extraction are the primary industries. The settlement is critical for providing essential minerals to the colony’s broader economy. Salinsulo’s population is focused on sustainable resource extraction and mineral processing, ensuring minimal environmental impact.
